He is a graduate from Stanford University, USA, and also an honorary member of Omicron Delta Epsilon, the international Honour Society in Economics. He holds a Diploma in Business Finance from ICFAI and has had considerable exposure to Information Technology as well. During his years at Stanford University, he was in charge of the Residential Computing Network and handled all hardware and software issues to provide resident students with computing and support services. He was also a Teaching Assistant and contributed to the design and delivery of various courses in Computer Science. He is a member of the Young Leaders Forum at the Indian Chamber of Commerce as well as a member of The All India Management Association (AIMA).
