1. Prepare for the next day the night before. (To do list)
2. Wake up early in the morning and stretch.
3. Practice time management. Always try to arrive for an appointment 15 minutes early.
4. Occasionally stand at your desk and stretch to allow your muscles to relax. Organize your workplace so that you know where everything is.
5. When you’re anticipating long lines at the bank or other meeting places bring reading material to help pass the time.
6. Learn to live for the moment instead of living in the past and future.
7. Have fun every day.
8. Learn to delegate responsibility.
9. Eliminate negative self-talk...I can’t, I’m not smart enough, I’m fat, I’m not good looking enough. If you are looking for someone who can make a major difference in your life, look in the mirror.
10. Add a few health books to your reading library.
11. Lower your dose of daily caffeine.
12. Don’t put off to tomorrow what you can do today.
13. When stressed out take several deep breaths in and out.
14. Avoid people who pull you down.
15. If you have to do a presentation, always rehearse your talk several times before giving it. Tape yourself to see how you did.
16. Always call your appointment or home if you are running late.
17. Do something nice for someone else.
18. Buy some new clothes and have your hair styled.
19. Call an old friend you haven’t talked to in a long time. (Make sure it’s someone that makes you happy.)
20. Use a humor perspective when things get a little rough. Defuse a negative situation with humor.
21. Buy some flowers for yourself or plant a sapling if possible.
22. Be happy with what you have, instead of what you don’t have. Stop complaining and start living!
