The Institute believes that each individual is responsible for his or her own learning. While we provide the best learning environment and opportunities, it is up to the students to maximise their intellectual and personal development. The students are treated as adults having the ability to make the correct decisions, and we expect them to reciprocate our trust and belief by imbibing the knowledge, ethics, and culture to make them successful.

Attendance

The students are expected to attend all the classes, practical as well as theory, and devote considerable time for private studies at home. They are provided with the class schedule well in advance, so as to plan their academic and other commitments. Exemption from attendance may only be granted for exceptional circumstance. It is compulsory for students to have adequate percentage of attendance in order to sit for the semester end examinations. In case of some unavoidable situation the student might be considered; however, travel and holidays are not considered ground for exemption.

Assessments

Internal Assessments are conducted every semester -- this not only helps in further progress of the students but also enables us to monitor their overall performance. In case of courses where the affiliating Universities or Institutions are conducting their own examinations, all tests are set, conducted, and corrected, by them directly and APEX has no authority or control over such assessment to maintain neutrality.

Guardian Outreach Initiative

The guardians are provided with the progress report for every semester and the institute expects full co-operation from them to ensure further improvement of their wards. The Academy organises periodic Open Houses to enable guardians to meet with the management and faculty. Regular interaction between guardians, faculty, and career counsellors, is encouraged to enable an all round comprehensive effort from everyone towards the students’ education. 

Holistic Development

Seminars related to various subjects from and beyond the curriculum are conducted on a regular basis so that the students’ knowledge is not restricted to books, but goes beyond the classroom to develop them into better professionals for the future. A continuing education program is in place to cultivate real world skills in all the students. Classes and activities are held throughout the length of the courses to impart practical soft skills like personality & attitude development, communication, social etiquette, leadership, team building, stress & time management, personal grooming, interview techniques, et al.
